While some of you might take issue with me including a stone-cold classic like John Woo's HARD BOILED among my Best Movie You Never Saw picks – here's the thing. I'd wager a lot of of younger viewers, or even some of our older ones, haven't actually seen John Woo's classic Hong Kong action movies. So, this episode not only highlights HARD-BOILED, which co-stars the great Tony Leung, but also serves an an introduction to the "heroic bloodshed" genre out of Hong Kong. More than anything, it's a tribute to the amazing career of one of the greatest Hong Kong-based actors of all time, Chow Yun-Fat! Join us as we look over his filmography, including classics like A BETTER TOMORROW, THE KILLER, FULL CONTACT and more, and examine HARD BOILED place in his canon.
