Haunting Conn site

BOO! You frightened? Me neither, but that is about as scary as the new trailer for THE HAUNTING IN CONNECTICUT gets. I’m not saying the flick is going to suck, though. It’s just that the trailer didn’t do much to back up the haunting promise in the title. Perhaps the film’s official website will be able to do better.

That’s right, kids. THE HAUNTING IN CONNECTICUT’s brand new website has just gone live for all to view. Feel free to click here for a taste. Right now, though, all you appear to be getting is the same trailer we already showed you in our video section and a link to click on to score updates. I guess you could say it’s pretty scary how barebones the site currently is, but I doubt that’d count. Maybe the plot can help:

After a family is forced to relocate for their son’s health, they begin experiencing supernatural behavior in their new home, which turns out to be a former mortuary.

So we’ll get flashing lights, dark basements, weird noises, séances, and ghostly images. Hopefully they didn’t also forget to “move the bodies!” CONNECTICUT was directed by Peter Cornwell with a script from Adam Simon and Tim Metcalfe. It stars Amanda Crew, Virginia Madsen (below), Kyle Gallner, Martin Donovan, and Mr. Elias Koteas. The release date is set for some time in 2009.
