Whoo boy…talk about your basic Catch-22. Let’s say you meet a woman through a
personal ad, she looks like Salma Hayek, but she’s a serial killer. What do you
do hotshot…what do you do?
Personally I think you suck it up like a male grasshopper and take the pain
with the pleasure. You can make your own choice, however, as the lovely Ms.
Hayek has landed the female lead in LONELY HEARTS, opposite John Travolta
and James Gandolfini.
Variety
reports: that she will play a 1940’s serial
killer named Martha Beck who, with accomplice Raymond Martinez Fernandez, found
victims through personal ads. Travolta and Gandolfini are the gumshoes hot on
her trail.
Now this is currently being reported as a drama, so no early word on how genre-licious
this might get, but here’s hoping they serve up plenty of red mixed with plenty
of pink. Regardless, hard to go too wrong with a bunch of Salma seductiveness on
screen.
