A trio of clips have arrived online to give us an early look at UNFORGETTABLE, the FATAL ATTRACTION-esque directorial debut of veteran producer Denise Di Novi.
Katherine Heigl, Rosario Dawson, Geoff Stults, Isabella Rice, Simon Kassianides, Whitney Cummings, Robert Wisdom, and Cheryl Ladd star in the story of
Tessa Connover, who is barely coping with the end of her marriage when her ex-husband, David, becomes happily engaged to Julia Banks — not only bringing Julia into the home they once shared but also into the life of their daughter, Lilly. Trying to settle into her new role as a wife and a stepmother, Julia believes she has finally met the man of her dreams, the man who can help her put her own troubled past behind her. But Tessa's jealousy soon takes a pathological turn until she will stop at nothing to turn Julia's dream into her ultimate nightmare.
The screenplay was written by Christina Hodson (SHUT IN) and David Leslie Johnson (ORPHAN, THE CONJURING 2).
UNFORGETTABLE will be in theatres on April 21st. The clips below – which range between 30 seconds to 1 minute long – offer a tease of Tessa's love sick insanity, and do their intended job of getting me more interested in the film. I enjoy movies like this, so I'm looking forward to checking this one out.
