Helena’s a bad girl

As TERMINATOR SALVATION continues to film in New Mexico and gather some decent hype, all the talk has focused on Christian Bale, and to a lesser extent, newcomer Sam Worthington. Don’t know about you, but I had practically forgotten that Helena Bonham Carter was in this thing, and now we know what kind of character she’ll be playing. A baddie!

Helena talked to Sci Fi and revealed that she’s one of the film’s villains: “I kind of play a baddie, definitely a baddie… I don’t know how much I’m allowed to say, but I’m a very bad person.”

Intriguingly, the article mentions that Carter will only work for about 10 days on the flick. I’ve always dug Helena (who didn’t want to tap that ass in FIGHT CLUB?) and she plays a great crazy person, so I’m all for it!
