Oh man. I cannot tell you how fantastic this trailer is.
There is plenty of new footage here. We start from the beginning with Jor-El and his wife Lara discussing Kal-El’s decent to Earth then follow the journey from there. Plenty of narration from Russell Crowe as well as some from Amy Adams as we get into the second half of the trailer when she is on the hunt for Clark. There is so much emotion here, and this certainly creates some exceptional hype for the movie. I wanted to mention the other day that Michael Shannon was a terrific choice for Zod.
I think this is something we all definitely need to see– a hero.
Synopsis: A young boy learns that he has extraordinary powers and is not of this Earth. As a young man, he journeys to discover where he came from and what he was sent here to do. But the hero in him must emerge if he is to save the world from annihilation and become the symbol of hope for all mankind.
