Back in August, I posted some set photos of Al Pacino and Helen Mirren from David Mamet‘s HBO film, PHIL SPECTOR. From the HBO’s 2013 preview, we have some official looks again of both the actors.

The film, which was scripted by Mamet, “chronicles the relationship between Spector and his defense attorney Linda Kenney Baden (Helen Mirren), with Jeffrey Tambor playing Bruce Cutler, another member of the defense team. Spector was put on trial in 2007 for the murder of actress/model Lana Clarkson. The first trial ended in a mistrial, but in the second he was found guilty and sentenced to 19 years to life in prison. The entire event recast the public image of Spector from the man who created the infamous Wall Of Sound pop technique, into something a bit more sinister.”

Pacino looks a great deal like him in the preview, now we just need to see if he can fit the man behind that wild hair. Should be an interesting watch. No air date has been released.
