Who knew that THE HUNGER GAMES series would turn out to be so good? I was apprehensive about it at first especially since it was another teen novel series to be adapted to the big screen. TWILIGHT left a bad taste in my mouth, and frankly, I was done with the overdramatic teen shit. I had yet to read anything HUNGER GAMES related but heard good things about the series from close friends. I wasn’t beyond giving it a chance (plus it had Jennifer Lawrence) so one night I took the plunge.
So happy I did!
HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE was high on the list of my most anticipated for 2013. You know there’s something great about a movie when it leaves you wanting more. I even cared about who Katniss ended up with….don’t you dare spoil anything for me! I still haven’t read the series. Movies and television consume my life.
Anyway, CATCHING FIRE was kick ass! Now I’m ready for MOCKINGJAY. The first poster has come in, and it’s nothing but a dirty tease! Yes, I know it’s separated into two parts! WHY?!
