Just a few hours ago we learned that Jimmy Hayward’s JONAH HEX was heading to the land of reshoots and even casting some seemingly huge roles. What we didn’t know is that there’d be a different director helping out on this go-around!
The guys over at Bloody-Disgusting recently confirmed that I AM LEGEND director Francis Lawrence will be assisting Hayward with the reshoots. Now that’s pretty interesting… Unfortunately we don’t have any other details regarding this turn of events. Were Warner Bros. unhappy with some of Hayward’s work? Were there some not-so-stellar test screenings? So many questions with no answers.
As of right now the June 18th release date still stands for HEX, which stars Megan Fox (below), Josh Brolin, John Malkovich, Michael Fassbender, Will Arnett and Michael Shannon. Hopefully we’ll get some reasoning behind these reshoots soon. As always be sure to keep it here for updates.
