I have a weakness for Zach Braff and the music of Joshua Radin. Maybe that’s why I’m showing you this trailer for THE HIGH COST OF LIVING.

Basically Braff’s character is much like his character in GARDEN STATE, just a little bit older. He’s the single guy with no direction in life, partying it up, and at a constant stand still. The moment that changes everything is when he hits a girl with his car. To top it off, the chick is pregnant. Braff’s character ends up spending time with her, despite her knowing that she hit him, kind of like Ben Affleck and Rebecca Hall’s relationship in THE TOWN. It’s THE TOWN meets GARDEN STATE minus the violence, bank robbing, and boston accents.

Check it out below.

“The story of a young, pregnant woman whose world falls apart when she loses her child in a hit and run accident. As her life unravels,Nathalie finds an unlikely protector in Henry, a down and out guardian angel who has followed her thread. But Henry is not quite an angel, and as she struggles to come to terms with the loss, Nathalie discovers that she has fallen in love with the man who ran her over.”
