Have you guys seen Quentin Dupieux’s RUBBER yet? If you haven’t, then chances are you’re planning to. Hell this thing has cult gem written all over it! It’s the type of indie flick that’ll have people talking about who you’d assume never even heard of the thing. With that being said you can bet us here at AITH are excited for this one.
And you probably are too! If you indeed are excited for the highly anticipated killer tire flick then you’ll be pleased to know the film has secured itself a release date on DVD and Blu-Ray. I bet you’ve already got your calender out, huh? Magnet are planning on dropping RUBBER on DVD and Blu-Ray starting June 7th! Got that folks? June 7th! Sure that’s still a couple months away but just look at it this way – the anticipation will make it that much more enjoyable… Unless the movie sucks. Didn’t think about that one…
RUBBER is the story of Robert, an inanimate tire that has been abandoned in the desert, and suddenly and inexplicably comes to life. As Robert roams the bleak landscape, he discovers that he possesses telepathic powers that give him the ability to destroy anything he wishes without having to move. At first content to wreak havoc on small desert creatures and various lost items, his attention soon turns to humans.
The cast for RUBBER includes Thomas F. Duffy, Hayley Homes, Wings Hauser, Tara Jean O’Brien, Haley Ramm, David Bowe, Ethan Cohn, Pete Dicecco and Remy Thorne.
