Well, it’s been a long time coming, but it’s finally here. Fango comes through in the clutch again with the onesheet for Aja’s remake of THE HILLS HAVE EYES.
The poster keeps the same tagline as the original, save for the original’s past tense (‘The Lucky Ones Died First’). Aside from that, I’m kind of let down by this poster. Why? Well, for starters, the poster uses the same grainy type of texture that numerous recent horror posters have used (SAW II, SEED OF CHUCKY, HOSTEL), and while it looks cool, it’s starting to get a little samey after a while. Plus, is it just me or does Emilie de Ravin look annoyed rather than scared? It’s like she’s about to pull a Charleton Heston and tell the damn dirty ape to get his paws off her face. Ah well, what do I know? I mean, besides having the movie kick ass, that is.
