Larry David TV wife Cheryl Hines will be making her feature directorial debut on the indie dark dramedy SERIOUS MOONLIGHT. Penned by Adrienne Shelly, who wrote and directed the indie hit WAITRESS and who was tragically killed last year, the film centers on a female attorney who, when she learns her husband is leaving her for another woman, decides to tape him to the toilet. After she decides to do that, however, her house is robbed and all kinds of hilarious complications ensue. Hines worked with Shelly on WAITRESS and its Shelly’s husband, Andy Ostroy, who alerted Hines to the project and who’ll also serve as producer on the film. The film is scheduled to start shooting in early December in LA. Hines will hopefully soon be seen again on the current season of “Curb Your Enthusiasm” and has the comedy HENRY POOLE IS HERE coming up.
