Unlike a lot of Hollywood productions, HITMAN is blasting through the process — it started shooting in March and will hit (ahem) theaters in October. Is it the efficiency of the mostly-European filmmakers, or are they just in a hurry to have a smooth-skulled Timothy Olyphant shoot you in the brain?
Either way, the videogame adaptation will provide some action in the month known mostly for horror, and a new French poster has hit online over at Twitch. Not quite as elegant as the teaser trailer, but it’s an effective design that cleverly incorporates the barcode branded on the back of our titular assassin’s noggin.
The movie revolves around a hired killer known only as Agent 47, slaying his way through Europe hunted by Interpol and the Russian military, while discovering bits about his own mysterious past.
