Hold onto your nuts for 2 nutty trailers for The Nut Job 2: Nutty by Nature

Following the events of the first film, Surly and his friends discover that the mayor of Oakton City is cracking one big hustle to build a giant amusement park, which in turn will bulldoze their home. It's up to them and the rest of the park animals to stop the mayor, along with his daughter and a mad animal control officer, from getting away with his scheme, and take back the park. A scheme so nutty can't be contained in a single trailer, so there are two! Brace yourself for a double dose of THE NUT JOB 2: NUTTY BY NATURE!

For those wondering, the second trailer is the more thorough of the two, but they both get the point across. I've seen a lot of nut jobs, but the first movie isn't one of them. With that said, this looks like your standard children's fare, of which a lot of parents will get roped into seeing and comment, "That was cute!" If it's anymore more or less, I'll eat my hat.

THE NUT JOB 2: NUTTY BY NATURE will nut its way into theaters on August 18, 2017.
