Horror Masters

AICN got a first look at the cover for MASTERS OF HORROR, the compilation of 13 one-hour short films written and/or directed by… well, the masters of horror.

The films haven’t been made yet, but Anchor Bay is apparently in talks to have the shorts aired on cable, either HBO or Showtime. No commercials, no censorship… what more could we ask for?

Among the filmmakers are legends Dario Argento, John Carpenter, Larry Cohen, Roger Corman, Don Coscarelli, Joe Dante, Mick Garris, Stuart Gordon, Tobe Hooper, John Landis and George A. Romero.

Filming is set to start this April, with a release date close to follow. I sure do HBO gets the bid, as their TALES FROM THE CRYPT series did the horror world some justice- so why not? This is probably one of the coolest collaborations of horror masters since CREEPSHOW! Stay tuned as we hear more about this masterpiece in the making.
