1st still from Joe Lynch’s Knights of Badassdom has a glaring Peter Dinklage

Do you guys remember when we were giving you updates on Joe Lynch’s KNIGHTS OF BADASSDOM every other day? Good because I don’t! While the project was filming we were treated to intriguing behind the scenes still after intriguing behind the scenes still, yet now we’ve got nothing. Until today that is!

We’ve finally got a news-worthy update coming from Joe Lynch and company in the form of the film’s first official still! What do we get in said still? Well a glaring Peter Dinklage, that’s what! Scope out Lynch’s message to fans that was posted on the film’s official website along with the still:

“Thanks to everyone who made the KoB Facebook page hit 1000k “likes” and going strong, the powers that be have let us give you a little taste of the insanity to come. Sure, it might be a bit of a tease, but why show our hand early? There’s much more to come, so why spoil the fun?

So it looks like we’ve got more KNIGHTS OF BADASSDOM goods to look forward to in the not-so-distant future. Nice!

A huge group of dedicated, costumed LARP-ers (Live Action Role-Players) , dressed like knights, elves & various characters, who give up their cell phones and take to the woods for the Central New Jersey Knights of Badassdom Adventure Society, where they are set to re-enact a dungeons and dragons scenario right out of the mythical Middle Ages.

After being dumped by his sexy girlfriend Beth, Joe reluctantly decides to join Eric and his Larping friends in the woods rather than stay behind and feel sorry for his newly single status. There he meets hot, ass-kicking, intimidating huntress LARPer Gwen, and finds himself a surreal adventure wilder than he ever imagined when a make-believe wizard casts an all-too-real spell from an ancient book he bought on EBay, releasing an actual demon with a taste for human blood — and souls — that starts systematically decimating the players in this suddenly deadly “game.” Will our guys become the heroes they have been pretending to be before time runs out?

Along with Dinklage the horror-comedy also stars Summer Glau (below), Ryan Kwatean, Steve Zahn and Danny Pudi. No word on any sort of release for KNIGHTS OF BADASSDOM but we should be getting plenty more updates soon. Be sure to keep it here for any and all news that comes our way!
