Aubrey Plaza gets zombified in first Life After Beth trailer

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

Here’s the first trailer for LIFE AFTER BETH, the upcoming zom-rom-com starring Aubrey Plaza and Dane DeHann (who isn’t playing an emo brat for once). While it doesn’t appear to be anything startlingly “new,” the flick looks light-hearted and fun enough to be worth a look.

Directed by Jeff Baena, LIFE AFTER BETH goes like this:

DeHaan plays Zach, who is devastated by the unexpected death of his girlfriend, Beth. But when she miraculously comes back to life, Zach takes full advantage of the opportunity to share and experience all the things he regretted not doing with her before. However, the newly returned Beth isn’t quite how he remembered her and, before long, Zach’s whole world takes a turn for the worse.

LIFE AFTER BETH also stars Anna Kendrick, John C. Reilly, Molly Shannon, Cheryl Hines, and Paul Reiser. A24 will release the film on August 15th. Head over HERE if you missed the premiere of the first two posters.
