Bait: Poster & 3D

Last Updated on July 26, 2021

Director Russell Mulcahy is a man who’s been bouncing around our genre for years and he’s got another film in the works that you might just want to take note of. The flick is called BAIT and we last told you about it way back in April!

Over six months later and we’ve finally got some more info on BAIT! First up we’ve got the first poster for the film, found to the right. Thanks to that poster we also find out the flick will be in 3-D. What a shocker… What isn’t 3-D now? Sure MY BLOODY VALENTINE 3-D rocked but is it really bankable to release everything in 3-D now? I suppose so. Anyway there you have it, a new poster for BAIT in 3-D! Here’s the synopsis:

In a sleepy coastal resort community, shoppers at an underground supermarket find themselves terrorized by a crazed bandit when the unimaginable occurs…

A monstrous freak tsunami swallows the town.

Now trapped inside a flooded supermarket with an armed maniac and rushing water threatening to entomb them all in a watery grave, the imprisoned band of survivors discover they’re not alone. The tsunami has brought some unwanted visitors from the depths. As the waters rise, they must overcome not only the threat of drowning but another threat, just as deadly and far more bloodthirsty … packs of hungry tiger sharks.

So THE MIST with water and sharks instead of fog and monsters. Alright maybe this’ll actually be pretty cool. I’m down for watching some sharks coming at me in 3-D! That’s all we’ve got for BAIT thus far but be sure to keep it here for updates as we hear them!
