Close on the heels of the announcement that Miranda Otto has joined the cast of ANNABELLE 2 comes the news that Stephanie Sigman has also signed on to star in the film.

The last time Sigman was on the big screen, it was in a movie that made nearly $881 million at the global box office – she appeared in the James Bond film SPECTRE as a woman attending Day of the Dead festivities with the British super spy. Her role in ANNABELLE 2 will be quite far from Bond girl territory, as she'll be playing a nun called Sister Charlotte.

ANNABELLE 2 will be directed by David Sandberg (LIGHTS OUT) from a screenplay by Gary Dauberman, who also wrote the first film. The sequel

follows a dollmaker and his wife, set 20 years after the tragic death of their daughter. They welcome a nun and several girls from a shuttered orphanage into their home, who soon become the target of the dollmaker’s possessed creation, Annabelle.

James Wan and Peter Safran are producing the film, which is scheduled for a May 19, 2017 release.
