Carrie Keagan takes on zombies and singers in Nick Carter’s Dead 7

Last week, we assembled some of the first images from the Butte, Montana set of Backstreet Boy Nick Carter's screenwriting/directorial debut, the post-apocalyptic zombie Western DEAD 7. Those pictures showed Carter, his Backstreet Boys cohorts A.J. McLean and Howie Dorough, Joey Fatone of 'N Sync, Jeff Timmons of 98 Degrees, and Jacob Underwood of O-Town in the costumes of the characters they'll be playing in the film, which

revolves around a ragtag group of gunslingers as they try to make their way in a postapocalyptic world. The twist to this world is that it’s just not barren and dangerous, it’s also filled with flesh-eating zombies. The gunslingers will find themselves stranded in a town and forced to make a choice on either to save the citizens of the town or save themselves.

This week, we've learned that there are several more boy band members acting in this production, including 'N Sync's Chris Kirkpatrick; Underwood's fellow O-Town members Erik-Michael Estrada, Dan Miller, and Trevor Penick; and Delious Kennedy from All-4-One. Singers Jon Secada, Frenchie Davis, and Chloe Lattanzi (daughter of Olivia Newton-John) are also along for the ride.

Actress/television host Carrie Keagan doesn't appear to be a singer, but she has landed the role of the female lead. Other non-singers previously confirmed to be in the cast are Lauren Kitt Carter and Debra Wilson.

A new batch of set pics give a glimpse of Keagan, Lattanzi, Davis, and Kitt Carter on the set, along with various boy band members, zombies, and the ladies of the Filly Farm.

DEAD 7 is coming to us from The Asylum and will premiere on Syfy in the summer of 2016. I am very curious to see how this is going to turn out.
