Cast of 1990 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film to have a virtual pizza party

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

Back in 1990, New Line Cinema rocked a lot of childhoods with the release of the first live-action TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES movie. Thirty years later, cast and crew members will be reuniting for a virtual pizza party that is scheduled to stream on YouTube later this month.

So far, actors confirmed to be participating in the event are the four in-suit performers who brought the ninja turtles Michelangelo, Donatello, Leonardo, and Raphael to life – Michelan Sisti, Leif Tilden, David Forman, and Josh Pais. The turtles' pal April O'Neil will also be there, as Judith Hoag is hosting the event.

You'll be able to join in on the pizza party action May 23rd, "World Turtle Day", at the TMNT Movie 1990 YouTube channel. The event will include a watch-along of the 1990 movie, with live commentary from the actors.

Directed by Steve Barron from a screenplay by Todd W. Langen and Bobby Herbeck, TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES was based on the comic book created by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird.

Now you can catch America's favorite green teens in their first live-action block buster film! After wading in a puddle of radioactive waste, these radical reptiles are transformed into New York City's greatest crime fighting quartet. Featuring a soundtrack with M.C. Hammer, this film will captivate adults and kids alike with its blend of humor, camaraderie and marital arts action. Don't miss this blockbuster movie. You'll have one shell of a good time!

The 1990 movie, and the Ninja Turtles in general, were a major part of my childhood, so I will definitely be checking out this pizza party.
