How are you guys feeling about THE WICKER TREE? It’s no secret this thing has been in the works for a long ass time, but things seem to finally be coming together. Proof of that is the two brand new stills we’ve got a look at today courtesy of Dread Central and Bloody-Disgusting.

If these stills are any indication THE WICKER TREE should at least carry over some of the weirdness of THE WICKER MAN. I’m always down for a flick that seems completely tapped so you can go ahead and sign me up. What says you guys? Check out the stills above and below to judge for yourself. Just click through on the shots for larger looks, including a NSFW version of the shot below courtesy of Bloody-Disgusting. Click away and enjoy.

Young Christians Beth and Steve, a gospel singer and her cowboy boyfriend, leave Texas to preach door-to-door in Scotland . When, after initial abuse, they are welcomed with joy and elation to Tressock, the border fiefdom of Sir Lachlan Morrison, they assume their hosts simply want to hear more about Jesus. How innocent and wrong they are.

THE WICKER TREE comes from WICKER MAN director Robin Hardy and stars Christopher Lee, Graham McTavish, Clive Russell, Honeysuckle Weeks (below), Henry Garrett, Callum Mitchell, Jacqueline Leonard, Prue Clarke, James Mapes, Keith Warwick, Brittania Nicol, Iain Stuart Robertson and Christopher Leveaux. This shite is set to hit the Fantasia Film Festival later this month so be sure to keep it here for more WICKER TREE goods as they roll our way.
