David F. Sandberg releases 5-part video on directing Annabelle: Creation

This past weekend we finally got the chance to check out director David F. Sandberg's take on the ANNABELLE storyline with the prequel ANNABELLE: CREATION. By and large, it seems the general consensus is the sequel is leaps and bounds better than the original.

If you were a fan of the new flick - or just have a love for the art of what goes into the making of such a movie - then you'll want to check out the five-part video series DIRECTING ANNABELLE: CREATION that Sandberg aka Pony Smasher just put up on his YouTube channel.

I'd suggest giving the video series a look-through, especially if you're hoping to one day find yourself behind the camera of a "big" studio horror movie. Lots to learn here. And in typical Sandberg fashion, he throws a good dose of humor into the mix making the series a fun watch.

You can check out all five parts below and then make sure to let us know what you think by hitting us up in the new comments system below or on Facebook, Twitter, and/or Instagram!

Several years after the tragic death of their little girl, a dollmaker and his wife welcome a nun and several girls from a shuttered orphanage into their home, soon becoming the target of the dollmaker's possessed creation, Annabelle.

ANNABELLE: CREATION is directed by David F. Sandberg from a script by Gary Dauberman. The film stars Miranda Otto, Philippa Coulthard, Stephanie Sigman, Alicia Vela-Bailey, Anthony LaPaglia, Talitha Bateman and Lulu Wilson.

ANNABELLE: CREATION is now playing in theaters nationwide.

Extra Tidbit: Seriously Sandberg is funny as hell. But go figure with a handle like Pony Smasher.
