Uncork'd Entertainment has announced that they will be giving writer/director Samuel Farmer's CRY FOR THE BAD MAN a DVD and Digital release on May 5th, and today we have an EXCLUSIVE look at the trailer, which is embedded above.
Starring Camille Keaton of the original I SPIT ON YOUR GRAVE, CRY FOR THE BAD MAN (which gets its name from a Lynyrd Skynyrd song) has the following synopsis:
When a small-town widow is grieving in isolation, she receives a deadly ultimatum from the privileged sons of a local land developer to sell her beloved property. With 24 hours to decide and her pleas to the town's corrupt sheriff falling on deaf ears, she realizes she must take matters into her own hands. Her quest for justice turns into an all-out battle and grisly confrontation.
Keaton is joined in the cast by Karen Konzen and Scott Peeler.
It was guaranteed that I'll be watching this movie the moment Keaton signed on to play the lead, so I'm looking forward to the May release date.
