Exclusive: Home video art and release date revealed for The Neighbor

Marcus Dunstan The Neighbor

With three FEAST films, four SAW sequels, PIRANHA 3DD, THE COLLECTOR, and THE COLLECTION to their names, screenwriting partners Marcus Dunstan and Patrick Melton may be the most prolific duo working in the horror genre today. Dunstan also directed THE COLLECTOR and THE COLLECTION, and again took the helm for their latest collaboration, the suspense thriller THE NEIGHBOR.

Starring Josh Stewart (INTERSTELLAR, THE DARK KNIGHT RISES), Bill Engvall (The Bill Engvall Show) and Alex Essoe (STARRY EYES), THE NEIGHBOR

takes place in the small town of Cutter, Mississippi, where most people keep to themselves. But when John (Josh Stewart) comes home to find his girlfriend Rosie (Alex Essoe) missing, he suspects his mysterious and off-putting neighbor (Bill Engvall) is somehow involved. John learns that Rosie’s life is not all that is at stake after a visit to his neighbor’s cellar. It becomes clear that the seemingly quiet town is more dangerous than it looks, and John and Rosie must do more than just run away if they want to survive the night.

Today we can EXCLUSIVELY reveal that THE NEIGHBOR will be arriving on DVD from Anchor Bay Entertainment, Fortress Features, and Salt Company International Production, and Digital HD and On Demand from Starz Digital on September 6.

Below we also have the first look at the film's home video art, featuring the villain's creepy paper mask.

We're less than two months away from the day when you can add a DVD sporting this artwork to your collection.
