First look at Robert Englund-starring The Last Showing

Last Updated on July 23, 2021

Back in April we told you about a UK horror flick heading into production titled THE LAST SHOWING, coming to us from writer/director Phil Hawkins. We later followed up the inital story with the news that sales rights to the flick had been picked up by Simon Crowe's SC Films, only to later learn that horror icon Robert Englund had joined the cast of the film, set to portray a demented projectionist at a theater for the titular event. Today we have our first look at THE LAST SHOWING and Englund in character via some new stills, which you can check out below!

THE LAST SHOWING tells the story of a young couple, Martin (Finn Jones) and Allie (Emily Berrington), who have a night out at their local cinema.  They become unwitting stars of their own horror story at the hands of Stuart (Robert Englund), a disturbed projectionist.  Trapping them in the cinema complex, Stuart uses hidden cameras to play his two victims off against one another, directing them to a finale where there can only be one survivor.

The film is scheduled to be released sometime in 2014.
