Full Moon Features has released the first teaser for Buried Secrets, the new horror movie from director Brooks Davis that sends a group of young adventurers into the Lost Catacombs of Bomarzo. You can watch the teaser trailer in the embed above. It’s very quick, definitely living up to the “teaser” description, but there are some intriguing visuals in there.
Davis, who previously made The Gingerweed Man and Bring Her to Me, directed Buried Secrets from a script he wrote with Neal Marshall Stevens (a.k.a. Roger Barrow, a.k.a. Benjamin Carr), based on a story by producer / Full Moon founder Charles Band.
What is Buried Secrets about?
Here’s the synopsis:
The Lost Catacombs of Bomarzo are rumored to hold a fortune in jewels for anyone brave enough to dig them up. When a daring (or maybe foolhardy) group of young Adventurers dare to unearth the hidden graves they manage to find the treasure — but also awaken a buried demon who’s looking for blood — and for someone to take his place in the darkness.
Full Moon describes the movie as a new tale of greed, secrets, and supernatural horror.
Who stars in Buried Secrets?
The cast includes Hope Johansen (Bound by My Fiances Uncle) as Jade, Veronika Vozniak (The Mafia Princess and the New Girl) as Rubi, Antonia Fuller (Bones) Morgan, Bella Mraz (Professor, I’m Addicted to You) as Katja, Ty Johnson (I Was Listening) as Snacks, Jack Hyland (EastEnders) as Parker, Robert Daprocida (Midnight Maniac) as Naktum, and newcomer Brian Nels Keith as a security guard.
When will Buried Secrets be released?
Buried Secrets is part of Full Moon’s 2026 slate, which also includes the likes of The Grim Rapper, Models vs. Werewolves, Robotica, and Autonomous. Full Moon currently has Buried Secrets scheduled to premiere on Blu-ray and DVD in December 2026, with the movie coming to streaming (on FullMoonFeatures.com) in early 2027.
