Full Moon unveils its Grindhouse Flix streaming service!

If you’re like me, you probably enjoy watching gritty exploitation movies on the go. It’s a known fact– 42nd street fare like CREEPOZOIDS, NECROPOLIS, and ZOMBIE LAKE were tailor-made to be played on smart phones and tablets. Finally, Full Moon is bringing these schlock classics to the forefront of the streaming age!

Alright, so it may sound a little ridiculous when I put it like that, but bear with me here. The company has been trickling out its Full Moon Grindhouse Collection onto DVD for a few years now. Previously hard-to-find titles like the FILMGORE series (hosted by Elvira!) were finally made available outside of VHS, but posed a tough sell for casual fans who didn’t come up in the glory days of Grindhouse theaters and Mom and Pop video shops. Now, the company’s Grindhouse Flix app is offering a smattering of these obscure titles for a mere $1.99 per rental. Hardcore fans in for the Full Moon longhaul will be able to sign up to have all the titles made available for $4.99 per month.

Keep in mind, however, that the service offers far less movies than something like Netflix (a mere 20 titles now with 4 more planned for release each month). If you’re a fan of titles like CREEPOZOIDS, RIOT IN A WOMEN’S PRISON, and Charles Band’s other late 70s productions, the Grindhouse Flix app is more than reasonably priced. Check out the website for more info and get to streamin’ some schlock.
