Head-tripping trailer debut for The Banshee Chapter

Back in April we shared the news that Xlrator Media had taken the US rights to the Zachary Quinto-produced THE BANSHEE CHAPTER, which stars Katia Winder (Showtime’s “Dexter”), Michael McMillian (HBO’s “True Blood”) and Ted Levin (SILENCE OF THE LAMBS) and was written and directed by Blair Erickson. Today we have a look at the first trailer for the mind-altering flick as well as word on when you can expect to see this badboy.

Xlrator Media has just unleashed the first trailer for THE BANSHEE CHAPTER as well as informed us that the film will be hitting VOD in December 2013, with a theatrical run scheduled for January of 2014.

THE BANSHEE CHAPTER centers on a young, female journalist (Winter) who follows the mysterious trail of a missing friend (McMillian) that had been experimenting with mind-altering chemicals developed in secret government drug tests. Levine plays the role of a rogue counter-culture novelist with a penchant for substance abuse and firearms who leads the journalist into the mystery of dangerous chemical research. A fast-paced blend of fact and fiction, the film is based on real documents, actual test subject testimony, and uncovered secrets about covert programs run by the CIA.

The film is produced by Zachary Quinto, the producers of MARGIN CALL, Before the Door Production's Corey Moosa and Neal Dodson, and Stephanie Riggs (Sunchaser Entertainment) and Christian Arnold-Beutel.
