Indie slasher flick Bloody Homecoming scores it’s first stills & details

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

I’ve made it no secret here at AITH that I’m a big fan of slasher flicks. I’m talking even cheesy slashers from the late 90s. Sorry, but I dig that shite yo! Give me a couple hotties, some creative kills and a decent who-dun-it and I’m sold!

So with that being said I’ve decided to tell you all about a little indie slasher coming our way called BLOODY HOMECOMING. Now it’s still a little too early to judge if this one will amount to anything worth spending a few bucks on but that’s the beauty of it – the potential is there! Before we’re undoubtedly disappointed yet again let me tell you all what we’ve got with this BLOODY HOMECOMING.

It’s Homecoming night in the sleepy town of Winston as a gaggle of freshmen friends excitedly approach their first big dance at Winston High, only to be refused entry by a trio of jerky senior jocks. The group decides to throw their own party in the school theater, but when Annie’s egomaniacal date Billy threatens her, the ensuing fight results in a accident that leaves young Billy dead.

Three years later, the faculty of Winston High finally decides to bring Homecoming Night back for the school, and Annie and her former friends—now seniors—are all anxious about it’s return, hoping they can forget the past and start anew.

But someone out there intends to make sure they never forget.

As darkness falls on Homecoming Night, the senior friends find themselves visited by a deadly force from their past in the dark halls of their high school. In the tradition of “Prom Night”, “The House on Sorority Row” and “My Bloody Valentine”, “Bloody Homecoming” is a fun, old school throwback to the slasher classics of the 80’s that promises to deliver a bloody good time.

Sure it doesn’t exactly sound original but it seems all the basic pieces for an entertaining slasher are there. I’ve gone ahead and tossed up one of the first stills from the flick above but you’ll want to pop on over to the film’s official Facebook page to get a look at a few more.

BLOODY HOMECOMING is coming at us from DAVED Productions with Brian C. Weed directing a script by Jake Helgren. Jim Tavare, Rae Latt, Lexi Giovagnoli, Grainne McDermott, Alex Dobrenko, Randi Lamey (below), Jesse Ferraro, Branden Roth, Taryn Cervarich, Elizabeth Bigger, Shaleen Cholera and Steve Earnest all star. There’s no telling when this one might be heading our way but you can bet we’ll keep you updated with any other news regarding BLOODY HOMECOMING that comes our way.
