Julianne Moore is no stranger to the genre. With credits like HANNIBAL, PSYCHO, THE FORGOTTEN, CHILDREN OF MEN, and even EVOLUTION. Now we’re getting word from Variety that she’s hopped on board another genre film.
Only problem is we know very little on this flick. The movie is called SHELTER and was written by Michael Cooney (IDENTITY) and directed by Mans Marlind and Bjorn Stein.
SHELTER is producded by Nala Films and is described as a supernatural horror thriller. Lensing is slated to start in Pittsburgh in late March. The only other info Variety offers is that the budget is between $22 and $25 million.
Interesting. If it was just slated as supernatural thriller, I’d be worried we’ve got another FORGOTTEN on our hands, but throwing in the word ‘horror’ has me intrigued. Plus, I’m a big fan of IDENTITY.
