UNDERWORLD: BLOOD WARS, the fifth entry in the franchise, has just dropped a slew of new images like discarded shotgun shells. If you love men and women in tight leather, this is a can't-miss collection. The images all show a very muted, typically UNDERWORLD-y color palette, but at least one of them has harsh slants of light that are actually visually exciting, which gives me hope for untested director Anna Foerster, who will be making her feature debut here. In UNDERWORLD: BLOOD WARS:
Vampire death dealer Selene (Kate Beckinsale) fights to end the eternal war between the Lycan clan and the Vampire faction that betrayed her.
BLOOD WARS also stars Theo James as Selen's ally David, Tobias Menzies as the leader of the Lycans, Bradley James as a villain, Clementine Nicholson as a Nordic warrior, Lara Pulver as a fiercely ambitious vampire, Charles Dance as Covenmaster Thomas, and James Faulkner, Peter Andersson, and Daisy Head in unspecified roles.
BLOOD WARS is scheduled to hit theaters on January 6, 2017.
