Official trailer for Dark was the Night starring Kevin Durand and Lukas Haas

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

DARK WAS THE NIGHT is a film we’ve been waiting patiently for since 2012, when yours truly visited the set in Long Island, New York. (You might even see me in the finished cut!) The Jack Heller-directed monster movie is now finally almost upon us, and RLJ Entertainment has released an official trailer, which you can find below.

The film stars Kevin Durand, Lukas Haas, Bianca Kajlich, Heath Freeman, Sabina Gadecki, Steve Agee and Nick Damici. Here’s the synopsis:

The quiet lives of a sheriff (The Strain’s Kevin Durand) and his deputy (Lukas Haas) are put to the test when an ancient creature begins preying on the local livestock and the small logging town’s human residents.

Rumor has it the film will come out in July, so there’s still some waiting to do. Meanwhile, keep an eye out for interviews with the cast and crew soon!
