Sacrifice trailer: Barbara Crampton stars in Lovecraftian horror film

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

With films like Re-Animator, From Beyond, and Castle Freak to her credit, Barbara Crampton is no stranger to the horrors crafted by H.P. Lovecraft – so it's fitting that she stars in Sacrifice, a Lovecraftian horror film from the writing/directing duo of Andy Collier and Tor Mian.

Sacrifice is set to reach select theatres on February 5th, with an On Demand release to follow on February 9th. The film will also be available on Blu-ray as of February 23rd. With those release dates swiftly approaching, we've gotten our hands on the film's trailer, which you can see in the embed above.

The official synopsis:

New Yorker Isaac and his pregnant wife return to a remote Norwegian village of his birth to claim an unexpected inheritance. Here they find themselves caught in a nightmare as an ancient evil awakens to claim a birthright of its own.

Crampton is joined in the cast by Dag Sorlie, Erik Iundin, Jack Kristiansen, Johanna Adde Dahl, Ludovic Hughes, Lukas Loughran, and Sophie Stevens. Collier and Mian produced the film with Ross Scaife and Sean Knopp.

Anything with Crampton in it has my attention, so I'll be watching Sacrifice for sure.
