In the mood for a little (or big) killer mutant bug action? Then your spidey sense must be tingling!

Millennium Entertainment announced today that they’re planning a February 8, 2013 limited release of SPIDERS 3D. The theatrical cut will be rated PG-13 with a running time of 89 minutes and SPIDERS will also be released the same day via VOD platforms nationwide in 2D.

Harkening back to the beloved creature features from the 50’s and the 60’s, SPIDERS 3D centers on mutant spiders created by pieces of material from a disabled Soviet space station that crash lands on Earth. With New York City threatened to be overrun by the gigantic killer spiders who have invaded the metropolitan subway system, it’s a race against time to stop the Queen Spider from uniting with her eggs before a deadly chain of events are triggered from the deadly reunion.

Directed by Tibor Takacs (The Gate, I, Madman), SPIDERS 3D stars Patrick Muldoon (Starship Troopers, Stigmata), Christa Campbell (Drive Angry, The Mechanic), William Hope (Aliens, Dark Shadows), Pete Lee Wilson (Blade II) Jon Mack (Saw VI) and Sydney Sweeney (The Ward).

Written by Joseph Farruggia and Tibor Takacs, SPIDERS 3D was produced by Boaz Davidson and Israel Ringel and executive produced by Avi Lerner, Danny Dimbort, Trevor Short and Lati Grobman.
