The trailer for Rob Zombie's 31 takes you to murder school

Rob Zombie 31 Richard Brake

The moment we've been waiting months for has arrived - the trailer for writer/director Rob Zombie's 31 is now online.

Zombie has hyped Richard Brake's 31 character Doom-Head as "the next great villian of horror", and Brake can be seen delivering one hell of a performance in the trailer, which focuses heavily on him amid blood-soaked imagery that makes it appear that this film is taking Zombie back into HOUSE OF 1000 CORPSES and THE DEVIL'S REJECTS territory.

31 follows

five carnival workers who are kidnapped the night before Halloween and held hostage in a large secret compound known as Murder World. Once there, they have 12 hours to survive a terrifying game called 31 in which “The Heads” – murderous maniacs dressed as clowns – are released to hunt them down and kill them.

Brake's co-stars in the film include Sheri Moon Zombie, Jeff Daniel Phillips, Pancho Moler, Lew Temple, Malcolm McDowell, Meg Foster, Judy Geeson, Jane Carr, Ginger Lynn, Daniel Roebuck, Lawrence Hilton-Jacobs, Tracy Walter, E.G. Daily, Torsten Voges, David Ury, Bari Suzuki, Devin Sidell, and Kevin Jackson.

Saban Films and Lionsgate are teaming up to release 31 On  Demand on September 16th and into select theatres on October 21st.

This definitely looks like one to kick back and check out with a bucket of popcorn at hand, 'cause "In Hell, everybody loves popcorn."
