Three beauties join Michael Cera in Magic, Magic

Last Updated on July 23, 2021

Michael Cera continues to be lucky enough to have beautiful ladies surrounding him. The latest project that finds the former George Michael (tell me there are “Arrested Development” fans out there!) in the midst of a bevy of lovely gals is MAGIC, MAGIC, the indie thriller announced last week from director Sebastian Silva.

The ladies in question: Emily Browning (SUCKER PUNCH; pictured below), Juno Temple (THE DARK KNIGHT RISES) and Catalina Sandino Moreno (MARIA FULL OF GRACE; pictured right). The roles they’ll be tackling have not been disclosed.

As we told you at the time of Cera’s casting, the pic revolves around a girl vacationing with her friends in a remote area of Chile who slowly starts losing her mental faculties. She tries to get her friends’ attention, but they ignore her until it’s too late.

Rip Cord and Killer Films are producing MAGIC, MAGIC. Shooting begins this summer. It’s currently being shopped to domestic and foreign buyers in Cannes.
