AMC's upcoming acquatic horror anthology series The Terror has conscripted three more crew members! Taking the roles of stewards on the HMS Terror are Edward Ashley (of IN THE HEART OF THE SEA, so he already has seafaring experience) and Liam Garrigan (Once Upon a Time, 24: Live Another Day – pictured below). They will be joined by Ronan Raftery (FANTASTIC BEASTS AND WHERE TO FIND THEM, CAPTAIN AMERICA – pictured above) as a Lieutenant.

These three will be joining the previously cast Jared Harris, Ciaran Hinds, Paul Ready, and Adam Nagaitis, and Tobias Menzies.

Based on the 2007 novel by Dan Simmons, The Terror:

is set in 1847, when a Royal Navy expedition crew searching for the Northwest Passage is attacked by a mysterious predator that stalks the ships and their crews in a suspenseful and desperate game of survival. It is a fictionalized account of Captain Sir John Franklin’s lost expedition of HMS Erebus and HMS Terror.

The 10 episode series is a co-production of Scott Free, Alexandra Milchan's Emjag Productions, Entertainment 360, and AMC Studios. David Kajganich handled the adaptation of Simmons' source material and will be co-showrunning with Soo Hugh.

Production begins on The Terror in Budapest this Winter. The show will premiere on AMC in 2017.
