Vertical picks up The Remains and Recovery from Diablo Entertainment

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

In 2014, Eric B. Fleischman and Sean Tabibian formed Diablo Entertainment with the intention of developing, financing, and producing genre films. The first two Diablo productions to be completed are THE REMAINS and RECOVERY, and the worldwide distribution rights to both of the films have just been acquired by Vertical Entertainment. Vertical plans to have both in theatres by the end of the year.

The feature directorial debut of Thomas Della Bella, THE REMAINS is a haunted house movie with the following synopsis:

After a family moves into an old Victorian home, they discover a chest in the attic containing antiques tainted by a malevolent spirit. As the antiques slowly possess each family member, the spirit grows stronger, hellbent on kidnapping the children.

The feature directorial debut of Darrell Wheat, RECOVERY stars THE GREEN INFERNO's Kirby Bliss Blanton (pictured above) and follows

Jessie and her friends the night before their high school graduation. The group is guided by a Find My iPhone app to recover her lost device from a house whose demented tenants intend on making her a flesh-and-blood member of the family.

Sounds like a promising pair of films, with the description of RECOVERY being especially appealing to me. We'll keep you updated as Vertical shares the release details.
