The Robbie Mannheim (Roland Doe) Exorcism: Everyone knows the story of The Exorcist, which began as William Peter Blatty’s 1971 best-selling novel, and was adapted by director William Friedkin into a blockbuster movie two years later. What many don’t know is Blatty based his novel on an actual exorcism performed on a young boy named Robbie Mannheim, AKA Roland Doe, in 1949. And it’s this case that paranormal investigators Jason Hewlett and Peter Renn, who is a documenting investigator for an ordained exorcist, explore this month.

Hunting the Haunted is an exploration of

alleged paranormal activity hosted by investigators and researchers Jason Hewlett and Peter Renn. The two combine their knowledge of hauntings and paranormal investigation to well known, and lesser known, reports of people, places and things that are haunted. The show dissects everything from The Amityville Haunting and The Enfield Poltergeist, to cases Peter has investigated during his 27 years in the field. Jason and Peter also touch on other aspects of the paranormal, including equipment, hoaxes and natural explanations for alleged activity

Hunting the Haunted is hosted by paranormal investigators Jason Hewlett and Peter Renn and edited by Jason D. Morris.   This episode was written by Jason Hewlett and Peter Renn.  Produced by John Fallon. Executive Produced by Berge Garabedian.
