Hunting the Haunted video investigates the ghosts of the Salem witch trials

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

The Salem witch trials began in 1692, when two little girls, aged 11 and 9, accused several local women of practicing witchcraft. The wave of hysteria that spread through Salem in response to this led to more than two hundred people being accused of being witches. 30 were found guilty, and 19 of those people were executed. With something so terrible in its history, it's no surprise to hear that Salem, Massachusetts is now considered to be one of the most haunted places in the United States. That's why Salem is the focus of the latest episode in our Hunting the Haunted video series, in which paranormal investigators Jason Hewlett and Peter Renn look into the trials to see if there has been supernatural fallout. You can watch this episode in the embed above!
