I Want That: Raiders of the Lost Ark-themed melting Nazi candle

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

As we approach the Christmas shopping season, there are certain people that are almost impossible to find gifts for. Movie fans are usually easy since you can just pick a piece of memorabilia or a new Blu-ray, but for those truly special people in your life, there is this candle molded after Ernst Toht. You may know him better as the Melting Nazi from the end of RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK.

A defining film for many people born in the 1970s and 1980s, the climactic scene featuring the opening of the Ark of the Covenant is at once terrifying and amazingly cool. Once you have seen it, you will never forget this scene. Sure, there are Indiana Jones toys and statues and all sorts of items, but this Firebox candle is truly unique. Just check out their description.

Just light the wick to set the glorious melting process in motion – there’s no need to seek out the Ark of the Covenant and unceremoniously release its supernatural powers.

While it may not melt face first like in the movie, this is still a truly awesome item that I know anyone would love to own. I am not sure I would ever actually light it, especially since it comes in it’s very own cardboard box patterned after the crates seen in RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK.

If you would like to buy your own Toht candle for $31.39, click here.
