I haven’t heard of FEAR(S) OF THE DARK, chances are you haven’t either.

It’s a French animated film, all in black and white, and has a handful of directors. From the vague description The Hollywood Reporter gives, it sounds intriguing.

Stylized interpretations of nightmares from six graphic artists and cartoonists.

I’m definately down for that. The Reporter reports that IFC have scored North American rights to FEAR(S) OF THE DARK, so we’ll be seeing this soon hopefully.

The bunch of directors of the film are: Blutch (Christian Hincker), Marie Caillou, Pierre DiSciullo, Lorenzo Mattotti, Richard McGuire and Charles Burns.

FEAR(S) OF THE DARK premiered at the Rome film festival and was then shown at Sundance. It’ll make it’s US premier this Saturday at the Film Society of Lincoln Center’s Rendez-Vous with French Cinema. Whoa, that’s a mouthful.

We’ll keep you updated on any more news for FEAR(S) OF THE DARK. In the meantime, enjoy the hotties below, who have nothing at all to do with this story.
