We’ve been telling you about Alexandre Courtes’ THE INCIDENT from time to time within the last year or so, with the last update coming back in September with the news that IFC Midnight had snatched the rights to this one up. And then nothing. Here we are, four months later, and IFC have finally tapped this shite with a release date!

It seems THE INCIDENT will be dropping into limited theaters starting May 4th, with a Video on Demand and DVD release soon to follow I’m sure. So mark it on your calenders folks – sh*t gets crazy May 4th!

THE INCIDENT centers on three fledgling rock band members who moonlight as cooks in a high-security asylum. When a freak storm blows the asylum’s security system, its criminal patients are unleashed and the rockers become trapped.

THE INCIDENT was penned by the duo of S. Craig Zahler and Jerome Fansten and stars Rupert Evans, Kenny Doughty, Unax Ugalde, Dave Legeno, Anna Skellern (below), Richard Brake, Eric Godon, Joseph Kennedy, and Marcus Garvey.
