This is the first I’m hearing anything about IMAGO MORTIS. It’s an Italian horror flick from director Stefano Bessoni. The synopsis reads: A series of strange murders take place in an European school of cinema and nobody, except the professors, seems to understand what’s happening.

Interesting enough. Mr. Bessoni has been keeping everyone updated (in Italian) on the production of his film via his blog, dropping stills left and right. You can check that out over here.

As I said. IMAGO MORTIS is directed by Stefano Bessoni with a story/script from Bessoni, Luis Berdejo, and Marcello Paolillo. It stars Geraldine Chaplin, Leticia Dolera (below), Álex Angulo, Jun Ichikawa, Silvia De Santis, Oona Chaplin, and Helena Carrión.

There’s no telling if this one will even get a release in the US. Knowing Hollywood though, I’m sure a remake for IMAGO MORTIS will be greenlit tomorrow. We’ll keep you updated on any other news we hear.
