FRIGHT NIGHT remake / GREEN ROOM co-star Imogen Poots has signed on to join Zoe Saldana and Madison Wolfe in director Anders Walter's I KILL GIANTS, which is based on the 2008 Joe Kelly graphic novel.

Kelly wrote the screenplay adaptation himself. His story centers on

a young misfit girl named Barbara who grapples with monsters both real and imagined in her life.

No details about Poots' character were revealed, but it is known that Saldana will be playing Mrs. Mollé, Barbara's school psychologist, with Wolfe having won the role of Barbara after a nationwide search of over 500 actresses.

Thirteen-year-old Wolfe might be a familiar face to genre fans, as her previous credits include the pregnancy horror film DEVIL'S DUE, the zombie movie RE-KILL, Scream: The TV Series, and THE CONJURING 2, in which she was possessed by an evil spirit.

Backed by Ingenious and financed by Umedia, I KILL GIANTS will be filming in Ireland and Belgium. Cameras start rolling on September 27th. The film is being produced by Chris Columbus through his company 1492 Pictures/Ocean Blue Entertainment, Kim Magnusson, Kyle Franke, Adrian Politowski, Man of Action Entertainment, Umedia, and XYZ Films.
