In the Earth: More posters revealed for Ben Wheatley’s horror flick

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

So this is exciting! NEON Pictures has just released four new posters for director Ben Wheatley's (Free Fire) upcoming micro-budget sci-fi thriller he shot during quarantine, called In the Earth, ahead of the trailer reveal tomorrow.

You can check out the poster at the bottom of the article, and here's the official synopsis:

As the world searches for a cure to a disastrous virus, a scientist and park scout venture deep into the forest for a routine equipment run. Through the night, their journey becomes a terrifying voyage through the heart of darkness, the forest coming to life around them.

Meanwhile, In the Earth – directed by Ben Wheatley and starring Joel Fry (Yesterday), Ellora Torchia (Midsommar), Hayley Squires (I, Daniel Blake), and Reece Shearsmith – will be coming to select theaters (check you local listings) April 30th!

Now, as I've said before, I'm usually a fan of Wheatley's work and how he manages to play with tone and expectations (especially Kill List), so I'm definitely curious about this one, and will check it out once I get a chance!

But what do you guys think? Also fans of Wheatley's work? If so, gonna check this one out? Either way, sound off below!
