It’s not everyday that a super low budget horror flick actually looks and sounds pretty good, but here we are with Sofian Khan’s cannibal survival movie DESTINED TO BE INGESTED. Also known as great f*cking title!
Starring a bunch of no-names like Suzi Lorraine (Sandy), Theodore Bouloukas (Chester), Kris Eivers (Tom), Manuel Fihman (Macho) and Kitty Cole (Anna), INGESTED goes a little something like this:
The film centers around a young couple and their friends, who take a South Pacific cruise after they had struck it rich by winning the lottery. The group is blissfully enjoying their new found wealth, when things start to go wrong in a hurry. News of a stock market crash reaches the couple, whose new fortune may now be in jeopardy, and their inept yacht captain has gotten them lost.
The group soon finds themselves stranded on an uncharted island inhabited by a tribe of man-eaters. A cat-and-mouse game of terror begins once the group is discovered by the natives who want to consume their flesh.
Ain’t that a bitch? You win the lottery, you’re out having fun, you then stumble across an island inhabited by a tribe of cannibals who want you for dinner. The budget is super low, but it actually looks like it could be worth your time… plus this Lorraine chick is pretty hot. Not to mention the film has an awesome title… that says a lot!
