We first gave you the scoop on Active Entertainment’s MASKERADE last summer, and an update has finally been issued. Screen Media Films will release the indie slasher on DVD under the title MASK MAKER on April 12th. A small look at the DVD artwork is to the right, and a new trailer is below. Here is the synopsis:
A young couple purchases a 19th century plantation home and invites friends up for the weekend to celebrate. When they accidentally release a long-buried evil, their dream home is transformed into a house of horror as the original owner returns to exact bloody revenge.
The film is directed by Griff Furst, who co-wrote the script with his SWAMP SHARK partner Eric Miller. The cast includes Nikki Deloach, Stephen Colletti (“One Tree Hill”), Terry Kiser (FRIDAY THE 13TH PART VII), Jonathan Breck (JEEPERS CREEPERS), Mariah Bonner, Anabella Casanova, and Michael Berryman (THE HILLS HAVE EYES).
